Christine Blasey Ford is a liar. She is also a perjurer because she lied under oath to a Senate committee.
This has always been my position. Here is what I wrote at the time of her testimony during Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings: Stop Calling Christine Blasey Ford “Credible.”
There is now more reason to believe that this detestable woman lied under oath. Her own lawyer recently admitted that her perjured testimony was, at least in part, motivated by her sick passion for abortion.
Given her attorney’s recent admission, Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) is now calling on the Department of Justice to open a criminal investigation of Christine Blasey Ford for possible perjury.
Good! Every Republican should have been calling for this the minute she opened her obviously-lying mouth!
While I am pleased to see this, I have absolutely no expectation that the DOJ will actually take any action whatsoever. There will be no charges. There will not even be an investigation. But there should be. And at least one Senator has said so. Good for him.
