An aspiring basketball coach has filed a lawsuit against New Mexico State University alleging that a coaching position, which she had accepted, was rescinded after the head coach learned that she was not gay. In her lawsuit, Camille LeNoir argues that she is being discriminated against by the public university based upon her religious beliefs and sexual orientation. “I felt the job was taken away because of my heterosexuality,” LeNoir said in a recent interview.

If there was ever a swamp that needed draining, it is America’s higher education system.
