I have no idea what happened. Your guess is as good as mine. But would anyone have been surprised if Twitter did delete his account?
Twitter released the following statement explaining that an employee had in fact deleted the President’s personal account accidentally, claiming that it was due to “human error.”
Earlier today @realdonaldtrump’s account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee. The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since been restored. We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.
